Orange-Flavored Almond Biscotti by Emily


I can say with complete honesty that I have never been a fan of biscotti.  It always seems like something you eat when there’s nothing else available and you’re simply settling for a stale cookie.   I had never even thought about how they were made until I considered making some from scratch after seeing this recipe.  Turns out, they’re twice-baked (which makes them seem extra special) and when they’re homemade, there’s quite a difference.  They’re crunchy, but full of flavor and the hint of orange makes them the perfect complement to cup of tea in the afternoon.
